SEBI (Delisting of Equity Shares) Regulations 2021
On November 20, 2020, SEBI had issued a consultation paper to review the SEBI (Delisting of Equity Shares) Regulations,
2009 with an objective of streamlining and strengthening the delisting process.
SEBI vide notification dated 10 June 2021 has notified SEBI (Delisting of Equity Shares) Regulations, 2021 (‘Delisting
Regulations 2021’) which repeals and supersedes the earlier regulation viz. SEBI (Delisting of Equity Shares) Regulations,
2009 (‘Erstwhile Delisting Regulations’).
