Key Amendments to the Finance Bill, 2022 as passed by the Lok Sabha
The Finance Bill, 2022 (‘the Bill’) was presented by the Hon’ble Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, on 1 February 2022. On 25 March 2022, while moving the Bill for approval by the Lok Sabha, the Hon’ble Finance Minister introduced certain amendments in the Bill. The Bill along with the amendments (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Amended Bill’) was passed by the Lok Sabha on 25 March 2022.
