Experience
Ritesh has over 20 years of experience and is not just a qualified lawyer from the G J Advani College of Law but is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Prior to joining Aurtus, he was a partner at Economic Laws Practice (ELP), a law firm, Dhruva Advisors, a leading tax and regulatory firm in India and has also worked with Deloitte. He is member of the ICAI and was co-opted as Co-chairman of the Indirect Taxes Committee – ASSOCHAM.
Ritesh regularly advises clients on indirect tax structuring and supply chain optimization and has advised various domestic and multinational companies on tax controversies including devising pre-litigation strategies. He regularly appears before various forums on tax litigation. Along with his in-depth expertise in indirect tax, his areas of proficiency include Customs and Foreign Trade Policy (FTP).
Ritesh has contributed articles in various professional journal / newspapers and has been a regular speaker in domestic and international seminars and regularly appears before various administrative and judicial forums.
Ritesh has been featured in ALB’s India super 50 Lawyer list 2022.
